North East Film Archive offers Tender Briefs for ‘North East on Film’

DIGITAL ENGAGEMENT STRATEGY

Tender Brief: Digital Engagement Strategy Dec 20 2016 The North East Film Archive (NEFA), has recently been successful in its stage 1 bid to the Heritage Lottery Fund for ‘North East on Film’, a major programme of public engagement over the next two to three years. The ambition for the programme is to build on the success of work to date, with a much expanded programme of community and location based events and activities, alongside a digital engagement strategy that will significantly increase opportunities for online engagement with the film heritage collections of the North East of England. NEFA is seeking a digital partner to help develop a robust and agile strategy that delivers innovative and creative use of web and social media cross-platform opportunities to grow and enrich online engagement with their collections. The deadline for written tenders is 9th January 2017, with interviews taking place in the week beginning 16th January.

COLLECTIONS INFORMATION SYSTEMS

Tender Brief: Collections Information Systems Dec 20 2016  A key element of the Stage 1 bid is to assess future options for NEFA’s Collections Management Systems, in particular the operational database that is the central repository for all collections information, underpinning both the day to day work of the Archive, and feeding information through to the front end website. The aim of the brief is to examine a concise range of options that will identify best solutions for the consolidation of collections data within a single system which adheres to sector wide standards for film archival data management The deadline for written tenders is 9th January 2017, with interviews taking place in the week beginning 16th January.
