The UEA’s report, ‘Invisible Innovators', making women filmmakers visible across the UK’s Film Archives is now available. It has been commissioned by Film Archives UK to explore the current scale and scope of the holdings of women’s amateur filmmaking within the regional and national film and media archives and to investigate ways of optimising their visibility. 6.3.20

YFA are delighted to announce that Memory Bank, their innovative series of themed DVDs and online films for use in reminiscence and life story work, won the award for ‘Outstanding Dementia Care Product/Innovation’ at the National Dementia Care Awards on 6 November 2013.
Memory Bank Directors Sue Howard and David Wallace were there to receive the award at the 8th Annual UK Dementia Congress in Nottingham. Sue Howard said: “We’re delighted to see Memory Bank being recognised for the positive impact the archive films can have when used with older people and people with dementia.
