The UEA’s report, ‘Invisible Innovators', making women filmmakers visible across the UK’s Film Archives is now available. It has been commissioned by Film Archives UK to explore the current scale and scope of the holdings of women’s amateur filmmaking within the regional and national film and media archives and to investigate ways of optimising their visibility. 6.3.20

Shona’s A Kind of Seeing has secured funding from the BFI for the Britain on Film Urban, Rural and Coast & Sea seasons showcasing archive footage from Scotland’s Moving Image Archive and in 2017 from YFA and EAFA.
She is one of the final 3 nominees after submitting an entry for the two major A Kind of Seeing tours in 2017: Made by the Sea and Following the Fleet: DRIFTERS.
